Terms of use

Last updated 24 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern use of Elevate Dental OS ("the system"), an internal business system owned and operated by [to be completed: registered company name], a company registered in England and Wales under number [to be completed: company number], registered office [to be completed: registered office address] ("we", "us").

2. Internal use only

The system was built by us, for our own use in running our own group of dental practices. It is not a commercial product or service: it is not sold, licensed, rented or offered to any other business, organisation or member of the public, and we do not advertise it or invite anyone outside our organisation to use it. No fee is charged for access.

3. Who may use it

Only people we have given an account to — our own staff, and people working for our group practices under an arrangement with us — may use the system, and only for our business. Accounts are personal: do not share your sign-in details or let anyone else use your account. We can change or remove any account's access at any time.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the system for any purpose other than your work for us;
  • try to access data, pages or organisations you have not been given access to;
  • copy, export or disclose patient, staff or business information except as your role requires and our policies allow;
  • interfere with the system's security or operation, or try to reverse-engineer it;
  • upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you do not have the right to share.

Your use must also follow your employment or engagement terms, our data protection and information security policies, and your professional obligations, including patient confidentiality.

5. Connected accounts

Where you connect a third-party account, such as Google, you confirm you are authorised to connect it on our behalf. How we use data from connected accounts is set out in the privacy policy. You can disconnect an account in the system, and remove access from the provider's own account settings, at any time.

6. Information in the system

Figures and reports are produced from our own records and from connected services. We work to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee that they are complete, error-free or up to date, so check anything important against the source record before relying on it for a financial, clinical or legal decision.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the system at any time, for example for maintenance or security. We do not promise that it will always be available.

8. Ownership

We own the system and its content, or use them under licence. Using the system gives you no rights in it beyond using it for your work for us.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales. Subject to that, as the system is provided free of charge for internal use, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

10. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how personal data in the system is handled.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use means you accept it.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: [to be completed: contact email].
